The Elmina Lakeside Mall is an innovative, nature-inspired outdoor retail centre being developed in Selangor, Malaysia.

The project is wholly owned by Malaysian property developer Sime Darby Property. It is the company’s second fully owned mall in the country.

Elmina Lakeside Mall is anticipated to open in August 2024. It is expected to be established as a vibrant lifestyle community hub for the populace in the region.

Location

The Elmina Lakeside Mall is situated at No5, Persiaran Garcinia Elmina West in Shah Alam, Selangor.

The mall is part of the 350-acre (141.6-hectare) freehold city Elmina City Centre, which in turn is part of a 5,000-acre city of Elmina, an integrated and master-planned township.

Elmina City Centre is designed with nine components: the Elmina Lakeside Mall, The Vibe, The Core, The CBD, Elmina Edu Hub, the 300-acre Elmina Central Park, Elmina Wellness Club, a residential park and public amenities.

Developed along the Guthrie Corridor region, Elmina Lakeside Mall will be the first neighbourhood mall within the city of Elmina.

The mall will benefit from excellent connectivity, with access provided by major routes: the Damansara-Shah Alam Elevated Expressway (DASH), the Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE), New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) and the Kuala Lumpur-Kuala Selangor Expressway (LATAR).

Elmina Lakeside Mall details

The Elmina Lakeside Mall will span an area of 17.2 acres. It will offer a gross floor area of approximately 400,000ft² (37,161m²).

It will feature attractions including drive-through restaurants, local and international dining options, home and living stores, service providers, health and wellness facilities and boutique lifestyle shops.

The mall will also include ATMs, baby strollers and wheelchair services, a children’s playground, an information counter, a loading bay, a nursing room, an Islamic surau [assembly room for worship] and a water feature.

The mall will host esteemed brands, provide curated offerings, and feature state-of-the-art amenities, positioning itself as a premier destination for shoppers and investors.

It offers more than 1,000 bays to park 330 motorcycles and 712 cars for free. Bicycle racks will also be available.

The mall features a refreshing al fresco retail concept, infused with biophilic [the tendency of human beings to enjoy contact with nature] elements such as lakeside dining venues, landscaped walkways, water features and natural settings.

The confirmed tenants for the mall include the supermarket Jaya Grocer and the home and living retailers Creative Lab, Harvey Norman, Meija and Mr D.I.Y.

Leisure and entertainment options include Happy Fish, Pets Wonderland and The Bike Artisans. Retailers such as Anytime Fitness and Little Foot will also open in the mall.

Options for fashion enthusiasts include Aula, Bayu Somerset, F.O.S, Icahfa, Matase Sutera and Onura Atelier.

The mall will accommodate Toys’R’Us, Twigs Bookshop, W Gallery, D’Special Day and The Baby Loft for kids.

It will offer salon, beauty and wellness retailers including Caring Pharmacy, NIMROC, Thai Odyssey and Watsons.

Other retailers and services include CASE, Gadget C Store, Machines, Sketchers and Typical Lux & Bag Services.

Dining facilities

Food and beverage chains including Lavender Bakery, Jibby Chow, Fish & Co, BHC Chicken  and Krispy Kreme will be available in the mall.

Other food options include llaollao, Daily Fresh, Ole-Ole Bali, Boost Juice Bars and Dolly Dim Sum.
