Store operation platform Yoobic has acquired French-headquartered retail operation and management platform SimpliField for an undisclosed amount.
The combined entity is set to offer an advanced frontline experience designed to meet the requirements of today's retail environment.
An expanded portfolio of international brands will now augment Yoobic's existing client base that includes more than 350 global retailers.
The merger occurs at a critical juncture as retailers face significant challenges in updating store processes and improving staff experiences.
Yoobic CEO Fabrice Haiat stated: “With costs rising and customer expectations at an all-time high, retailers can’t afford to gamble on underpowered frontline teams. This is a make-or-break moment where efficiency, growth and profitability are directly tied to the frontline’s success. Productivity isn’t just an advantage; it’s the bottom line.
“With SimpliField, we’re not just acquiring powerful technology, we’re gaining deep operational expertise and trusted relationships with some of the most iconic global brands. Together, we’re delivering the digital workplace that helps retailers move faster, execute sharper and maximise every moment."
Through this acquisition, Yoobic seeks to address the growing industry needs across various market segments such as high-end goods, cosmetics, supermarkets, quick-service restaurants (QSR) and consumer products.
The aim is for brands to enhance operational execution, bridge communication gaps between headquarters and local branches, and harness valuable insights from frontline activities.
SimpliField general manager Georgeta Dumont stated: “Joining Yoobic allows us to scale our mission faster and create even more impact for frontline teams.
“We share a common vision of a world where every store associate has the tools and insights to do their best work every day. Together, we can now deliver on that promise at a truly global scale.”
