UK-based household and garden retailer Wilko has announced the relaunch of its free click-and-collect service, now available nationwide.
Customers can access this service from 217 locations, including a growing number of reopened Wilko stores and collection points through its partner, The Range.
The service allows shoppers to choose from a selection of more than 30,000 products on wilko.com and collect their orders within two hours during store opening times.
Following successful trials in concept stores in Exeter, Luton, and Plymouth, Wilko is progressing with its store rollout programme, with recent openings in St Albans and Rotherham.
The retailer also planned for more openings in the rest of this year.
Wilko.com, the exclusive online shopping portal for Wilko products, offers an extensive range of more than 50,000 items catering to various aspects of family life, including household and garden essentials, decorating, health, cleaning DIY, laundry, pet care, and beauty.
CDS Superstores, trading as Wilko, CEO Alex Simpkin said: "We’re getting great feedback as we reopen Wilko stores as part of our ongoing rollout programme. We’re also getting lots of requests from loyal customers asking when their town or city will be next.
“This latest addition to wilko.com means we can make products available immediately in over 200 new locations so busy customers and their families can easily get the things they need for their home and garden jobs.”
In February, Wilko disclosed plans to open a new store in Poole, Dorset, as part of its expansion strategy under the new ownership of CDS Superstores.
The retailer entered into administration in August last year, and CDS Superstores acquired the brand and intellectual property rights of Wilko in September.
