E-commerce platform RevolutionParts has partnered with Walmart GoLocal, the last-mile delivery service business of US retailer Walmart, to offer same-day delivery of car parts.

As part of this collaboration, RevolutionParts is adding Walmart GoLocal to its suite of delivery offerings, known as RP Shipping.

The suite provides buyers and sellers of car parts with more flexibility in sending and receiving parts.

RevolutionParts CEO Ibrahim Mesbah said: “We’re focused on creating an exceptional e-commerce and shipping experience for automotive parts and accessories retailers and bringing them cutting-edge tools to grow and scale their business.

“Offering same-day delivery with Walmart GoLocal will further expand our reach and bring added convenience to automotive parts buyers and sellers nationwide.”

Same-day delivery is one of the many services RevolutionParts offers through its RP Shipping suite to automotive parts sellers.

RevolutionParts specialises in delivering automotive parts and accessories sales across North America, with more than $600m in annual sales.

The service enables automotive parts buyers and sellers to order products, including original equipment manufacturer replacement parts and opt for same-day delivery at checkout.

In addition to same-day delivery, RevolutionParts provides discounted rates and shipping protection to buyers and sellers.

Walmart GoLocal's white-label delivery service platform claims to provide reliable, same-day delivery to businesses of all sizes.

Walmart GoLocal senior director and sales and business development head Eliza Wendel said: “Removing friction in e-commerce fulfilment is paramount to delivering an exceptional customer experience. We’re thrilled to be teaming up with RevolutionParts as they expand their local delivery capabilities and fulfilment offerings for automotive parts and accessories retailers.”

Traditional AI is here to stay in the retail and apparel space

Initially, retailers used AI for basic tasks, including inventory management and demand forecasting. However, its usage has now become more prevalent in other aspects such as personalized marketing, customer service, pricing optimization, and supply chain management. With the rise of ecommerce and the increasing importance of data-driven decision-making, AI adoption in retail and apparel has accelerated. The industry now relies on AI to enhance the shopping experience, optimize business operations, and gain an overall competitive edge.
