UNIQLO plans to open two new stores in India  

The new stores will offer UNIQLO's LifeWear collections for men, women, children and infants.

UNIQLO, a brand owned by Japanese retail company Fast Retailing, will open two new stores in India in November 2024.  

The new stores are set to open at Phoenix Palladium, Mumbai, and Pacific Mall Tagore Garden, New Delhi. 

Spanning two floors, UNIQLO Pacific Mall Tagore Garden, will have a total sales floor space of 12,930ft². 

Located in Western Delhi, this location will become the ninth UNIQLO establishment in the Delhi National Capital Region (NCR) region.  

Specific details about the UNIQLO Phoenix Palladium store in Mumbai have not been disclosed. 

Both the stores will offer UNIQLO's LifeWear collections for men, women, children and infants.  

The brand emphasises thoughtful design, quality and functionality in its products, aiming to enhance everyday life for its customers.  

UNIQLO India chief financial officer and chief operating officer Kenji Inoue said: "Our five-year journey has been incredible and full of learnings. "We are pleased to see that Indian customers have shown a deep appreciation for our LifeWear - high quality, functional clothing that is designed to make everyday life better.  

“We remain committed to India and are excited to continue serving our customers. At this milestone, we are also looking forward, with the announcement of the further expansion of our store network in Mumbai and New Delhi.” 

UNIQLO operates more than 2,400 stores worldwide, including in Japan, Asia and North America. The brand first entered the Indian market in October 2019.  

In October 2023, UNIQLO debuted in Mumbai, Maharashtra with the opening of a store in Phoenix Market, Kurla
