North American retailer Spirit Halloween has teamed up with Uber Eats to provide on-demand delivery services for Halloween enthusiasts in the US and Canada.
The partnership will provide customers with access to the Spirit Halloween catalogue via Uber Eats, Postmates, and the Uber app. Items will be available at the same in-store prices.
Spirit Halloween is set to open a record 1,525 stores this year, featuring a wide range of costumes, accessories, exclusive décor, and animatronics for the entire family.
Uber One members will enjoy a delivery fee waiver and a 5% discount on Spirit Halloween orders over $35.
Customers can also benefit from up to 40% off on orders of $50 or more through Halloween.
Uber US grocery and retail partnerships director Beryl Sanders said: "The holiday season officially kicks off this time of year, and households across the country are looking to on-demand delivery to get what's needed—now.
"That's one of the reasons we're most excited to bring Spirit Halloween to Uber Eats and our other Uber apps to make costumes and other Halloween must-haves a cinch. As a working mom, I know how crucial that last-minute face paint or mask can be on the morning of the school parade or the hour before trick-or-treating starts, and I'm thrilled we'll be able to meet that demand at Uber."
With this partnership, Spirit Halloween joins a cadre of retailers such as Big Lots, Lowe's, Michael's, and Party City, who have partnered with Uber's apps to expand their customer reach.
This move is in line with Uber Eats' mission to deliver a wide range of products on-demand.
