North American retailer Spirit Halloween has partnered with logistics management and crowdsourced delivery platform Roadie to offer same-day delivery across the US. 

The partnership marks the retailer's first venture into e-commerce same-day delivery services.  

Their collaboration, facilitated by a direct integration with the Roadie platform, allows customers to receive their Halloween essentials within hours of purchase from SpiritHalloween.com. 

The service will be available from more than 800 Spirit Halloween retail locations. 

Roadie founder and CEO Marc Gorlin said: "We have a 'no zombie or witch left behind' policy at Roadie. But it happens some years – you get busy and all of a sudden, Halloween sneaks up and says, 'Boo!' But with Roadie’s help, getting all your last-minute Halloween needs doesn’t have to be a horror story. Just go to SpiritHalloween.com and order all the broomsticks you want.

Roadie's platform is designed to offer instant scalability, batch order pick-ups and barcode scanning for order accuracy, ensuring timely deliveries for Spirit Halloween's customers. 

The platform's flexibility is advantageous for handling delivery needs from rapid same-day service to the transportation of oversized items, such as outdoor yard decorations. 

The partnership will enable Spirit Halloween to reach a broader customer base, including those without easy access to a physical store or who prefer the convenience of home delivery. 

In September 2024, Spirit Halloween teamed up with Uber Eats to provide on-demand delivery services in the US and Canada.
