UK retailers are boosting the holiday experience for customers with personalised services and extended hours.

As the festive season approaches, major UK retailers are stepping up to make Christmas more affordable and enjoyable for their customers.

Here's a glimpse of how some leading brands are spreading holiday cheer.

Asda: serving up savings and support

Affordable meals and price locks

  • Asda extends its 'Kids Eat for £1' ($1.26) offer in cafés and introduces half-price adult main meals from 3pm onwards.
  • Winter Warmers offer: People aged 60 and above can enjoy soup, a roll, and unlimited tea and coffee for just £1 in Asda's cafés.
  • Asda invests £130m in lowering prices, reducing the prices of more than 600 popular products by an average of 10%.

Community support and Christmas essentials

  • Emergency Responders: Asda offers free tea or coffee to emergency responders in more than 330 stores to help them during colder shifts.
  • Frozen Christmas: dinner essentials stocked in advance, allowing customers to feed a family of six for just £4.17 per head.
