Asian collectibles and toys brand POP MART has expanded its European presence with the opening of its first permanent store in the Netherlands.
Opened on 13 July 2024, the store is located in Amsterdam's Kalverstraat.
The store introduces Dutch consumers to the brand's designer toys and provides a full immersion into POP MART's shopping experience.
The China-based retailer has recently launched stores in London, Paris and Milan, and now operates 500 stores across the capitals of more than 30 countries.
POP MART International president Justin Moon said: "We are extremely happy that we can now bring our unique store concept permanently to the Netherlands.
"For us as a brand - a perfect opportunity to be even more in touch with our loyal fans and collectors in the Netherlands."
The store's launch also features several exclusives, including the MEGA ROYAL MOLLY X Van Gogh Museum collectible, inspired by Van Gogh's "Almond Blossom."
The store also unveiled a special addition to the Peach Riot collection by American artist Libby Frame.
This limited collection, inspired by a renowned punk band, consists of three figurines: Gigi, Poppy and Frankie.
It is available exclusively in Amsterdam in a limited edition of 50 pieces each.
During the opening, collectors also had the opportunity to purchase exclusive items such as the HIRONO reshape sculpture and the DIMOO Green Crab Plus figurine.
Justin Moon added: "Amsterdam is an international metropolis, a melting pot of different cultures and the mecca for art and design. The opening of POP MART in Amsterdam reinforces the brand's international image and has only spurred our plans to launch even more locations in the Netherlands this year."
