Luxury skiwear and lifestyle brand Perfect Moment has inaugurated its first North American warehouse and distribution centre in Dallas, Texas.
The new facility is operated in partnership with Quiet Platforms, a company specialising in strategically located fulfilment centres and last-mile delivery solutions.
The facility is a strategic move to improve Perfect Moment’s order fulfilment and distribution across the region.
The development will offer customers larger shipping options, including two-day and overnight delivery.
Perfect Moment believes that the new regional distribution will further increase its US sales, which contributed more than 40% to total net revenues in the last fiscal year.
The facility will enable Perfect Moment to pay lower import duty costs and reduce shipping costs, advancing its margin expansion strategy.
The company will deliver faster and more convenient shipping and return processing with the help of Quiet Platforms’ AI-powered localised delivery system Click2Door.
Perfect Moment CEO Mark Buckley said: “The opening of this distribution centre demonstrates our commitment to meeting our North American customers’ needs and streamlining the customer experience.
“This is also made possible through our new partnership with the leading supply chain management company, Quiet Platforms. They will continue to play an important role as we further our expansion plans for the US, which includes our first physical store in Soho New York which will open later this month.”
Perfect Moment plans to open its first physical store in Soho, New York, in late October 2024. This seasonal store will offer the company’s new autumn/winter collection from October to April.
Perfect Moment chief financial officer Jeff Clayborne said: "We expect these savings to significantly boost our e-commerce margin in the second half of our fiscal year. With this contributing to an overall margin improvement in fiscal 2025, ending in March.”
In July 2024, Perfect Moment implemented Quiet Platforms' Click2Door solution for end-to-end fulfilment and delivery.
