German family-operated fashion retailer Peek & Cloppenburg has opted for Oracle's retail and financial cloud solutions to enhance its operational efficiency and improve inventory management across its international network.
The chain, which boasts a portfolio of 160 stores in 16 European countries and five online stores, serves a vast customer base every year.
By integrating Oracle Cloud technologies, the retailer aims to cut costs, simplify its business processes, and expand its operations while more effectively meeting customer demands.
Peek & Cloppenburg Global IT director Kristian Hertel said: "Replacing our legacy systems with a modern platform will give us the flexibility and scalability we need to adapt to a rapidly changing industry.
"With best-in-class Oracle Cloud ERP [enterprise resource planning] and retail solutions we can better manage inventory for our private label and name-brand merchandise while gaining operational efficiencies and growing margins."
In partnership with Retail Consult, Peek & Cloppenburg will roll out various components of the Oracle Retail Suite.
Additionally, the company plans to implement Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications for both financials and warehouse management.
These Oracle tools are expected to centralise the brand's approach to business management, elevating process efficiency, expediting cross-functional insights, and bolstering support for strategic business choices.
