Fast growing direct-to-consumer (DTC) apparel brand Nuuds has selected logistics company Barrett Distribution Centers (Barrett) as its third-party logistics partners (3PL).

Barrett has been providing e-commerce fulfilment, omnichannel distribution, managed transportation solutions and retail compliance for industries including apparel and footwear, health and beauty, consumer packaged goods (CPG) and education.

The company secured the contract following a rigorous selection process that includes several industry competitors.

As part of the contract, Barrett will support Nuuds’ increasing e-commerce fulfilment requirements.

In addition, Barrett will be responsible for expansion of the brand’s retail and omnichannel in the future as well as the launch of its new children's clothing line, Tones.

Nuuds and Tones will initially launch out of the Memphis region.

Nuuds co-founder and operations head Rob Fletcher said: "As a young, growing DTC eCommerce brand, Barrett can help us grow in any direction we want. Everything we'd heard about Barrett was evident during our site visits.

“Their operational team and leadership exhibited unparalleled agility and understanding of our unique needs as a brand. The fact that Barrett pursued us with such vigour made us feel genuinely valued."

Nuuds, which launched in October 2022, is an elevated basics apparel brand that focus on authenticity and inclusivity.

Barrett sales & marketing VP Bryan Corbett said: "Everyone at Barrett is honoured and thrilled to be chosen as Nuuds’ trusted 3PL partner. Selecting a supply chain partner is one of the most critical decisions a young, growing brand makes, and we are ecstatic with their decision. Everyone at Barrett is excited to get to work!”
