Luxury department store chain Nordstrom has revealed plans to open a new 31,000ft² Nordstrom Rack location in Coral Springs, Florida, US.  

Scheduled to open in late 2025, the store will be situated in Pine Ridge Square, a shopping centre that also hosts The Fresh Market and Ulta.  

Pine Ridge Square, owned and managed by Regency Centers, is located at the intersection of University Drive and Wiles Rd. 

Nordstrom Rack president Gemma Lionello said: "We look forward to being a part of the Coral Springs community and serving our customers with an amazing offering of great brands at great prices. 

"We're excited to grow our footprint in the Miami market and introduce new customers to the Nordstrom experience.

“Customers will be able to take advantage of our convenient services such as online order pick up from both Nordstrom.com and NordstromRack.com, and they can make returns easily." 

Nordstrom Rack, the off-price retail division of Nordstrom, is integral to the company's 'Closer to You' strategy. 

The business aims to provide a more convenient and interconnected experience across its stores and digital platforms.  

The retailer offers up to 70% off on apparel, accessories, beauty products, home decor, and shoes. 

According to Nordstrom, the Nordstrom Rack business is its largest source of new customers. 

In addition to the Coral Springs store, Nordstrom plans to open another new Nordstrom Rack location in Fort Myers later this year.

These additions will increase Nordstrom’s physical presence and economic contribution in Florida, where it currently operates six Nordstrom and 18 Nordstrom Rack stores, supporting approximately 3,000 jobs. 

Last month, Nordstrom announced plans to open a new Nordstrom Rack store in Houston, Texas, in early 2025.
