US-based luxury department store chain Nordstrom has revealed plans to open a new Nordstrom Rack location in San Diego, California.
The 26,000ft² store will be located in Clairemont Town Square, a major shopping centre that also houses Burlington, Vons, TJ Maxx, Ulta Beauty, Reading Cinemas and others.
Nordstrom Rack, the off-price retail division of Nordstrom, offers discounts of more than 70% on on-trend apparel, accessories, beauty, home and shoes from major brands.
The store also offers convenience services such as online order pick-up for Nordstrom.com and NordstromRack.com, as well as easy returns and alterations at select stores.
The new store is scheduled to open in autumn 2024 and will complement the ten other store openings announced by Nordstrom.
The new additions will take the retailer’s portfolio in California to 68 Nordstrom Rack stores, 22 Nordstrom stores, five Nordstrom Locals and one ASOS | Nordstrom.
Nordstrom Rack Stores senior vice-president Carl Jenkins said: "We look forward to opening this new Nordstrom Rack location in San Diego, strengthening our network of stores and introducing new customers to Nordstrom Rack's unique product offering.
"In addition to shopping great brands at great prices, our customers in San Diego can take full advantage of this convenient new location to pick-up online orders and make returns."
Conveniently located off Clairemont Drive and Clairemont Mesa Boulevard, the Clairemont Town Square is owned and managed by Merlone Geier Partners.
Last month, Nordstrom revealed plans to open a new Nordstrom Rack location in Queen Creek, Arizona.
