Payment giant Klarna has expanded its offerings by becoming an official Apple reseller.
This move allows Klarna's 25 million active US consumers to purchase the latest Apple products directly through the Klarna app and website, along with a new financing option designed to make these coveted devices more accessible.
The new initiative, called 'Apple from Klarna', creates a dedicated storefront within the existing Klarna platform.
Here, shoppers can browse and purchase Macbooks, iPads, and Apple Watches using Klarna's signature flexible payment options.
The key news for retailers is the introduction of 'Upgrade Financing', a new financing plan designed exclusively for Apple products purchased through 'Apple from Klarna'.
This plan allows Klarna customers to spread the cost of their Apple purchases over low monthly payments, starting as low as $7.99 per month for an Apple Watch SE.
Klarna's financing plan offers additional flexibility at the end of the loan term.
Customers can choose to trade in their device and upgrade to the latest model, or simply keep their current device with a final, interest-free payment.
"It is super exciting that we’re simplifying the shopping experience for Apple products in the Klarna app and Klarna.com," said Klarna CEO Sebastian Siemiatkowski.
"Apple from Klarna gives our 25 million active US consumers another way to access the latest and best tech as they work, play and create.”
This move by Klarna provides retailers with a potential boost in Apple product sales by making them more accessible to a wider range of consumers through flexible financing options.
'Apple from Klarna' offers the latest lineup of Apple devices, including MacBooks, iPads, and Apple Watches.
This strategic partnership between Klarna and Apple presents an opportunity for retailers to leverage Klarna's established user base and flexible financing options to potentially increase sales of Apple products.
As Klarna integrates seamlessly with existing online shopping experiences, retailers can benefit from this partnership by attracting new customers looking for accessible payment options on coveted Apple devices.
