Italian beauty brand KIKO Milano will open a permanent new store at the Trafford Centre in Manchester in July 2024, marking a significant expansion in the UK market.

The brand will transition to a 900ft² unit on Upper Peel Avenue. The store’s grand opening is set to take place on the 26 July and the opening event on 1 August, complete with giveaways and "spin to win" games.

KIKO Milano is on a rapid expansion trajectory, with plans to open new stores in key shopping districts across the UK during 2024.

KIKO Milano country manager UK and Ireland Paul Devlin commented: “Our new store at the Trafford Centre will mark a significant milestone for us. It is an iconic and thriving shopping destination and we are excited to expand KIKO's presence to the Manchester and wider community amongst the best calibre of brands.”

In April 2024, KIKO Milano was acquired by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton-backed consumer-focused investment company L Catterton.

Russell Loveland, managing director of Pradera Lateral, the Trafford Centre’s asset managers, added: “We have seen demand for their products, which made it clear that going back to an inline unit was the next logical step. This move not only enhances the shopping experience for our guests but also solidifies the Trafford Centre's position as a premier destination for top-tier beauty brands.”

The Trafford Centre welcomes 30m visitors every year to its 280 brands, with a strong beauty offering. Sephora recently opened its third UK store in the centre.
