Home furnishing retailer IKEA Canada is set to open its latest Plan and Order point in Vaudreuil on 2 May 2025, expanding its presence in Quebec.

Located in Faubourg de la Gare Vaudreuil, the point provide customers with specialised design services to assist in planning, ordering, and purchasing home furnishing solutions for various rooms.

In addition to design services, this location will feature a selection of approximately 100 Ikea products available for immediate purchase and takeaway, except for food items. There will also be an on-site customer collection point for added convenience.

This establishment marks the first of its kind in Canada to offer these enhanced services to customers, the company said.

Once designs are finalised, orders can be placed for home delivery or collection at the Vaudreuil site or another local pick-up point.

Prospective customers will have the opportunity to schedule appointments for comprehensive planning services starting 2 May onwards by visiting the company's website.

With the introduction of the Vaudreuil Plan and Order point, Ikea Canada's presence in Quebec grows to five locations, totalling ten across the nation.

It operates 16 stores across the country while parent company Ingka Group operates 473 Ikea stores in 31 countries.

In 2024, Ikea stores attracted a combined footfall of 32.6 million visitors and received 162.6 million visits to their online platform, IKEA.ca.

In January, Ikea Canada committed C$50m ($37m) towards reducing prices on more than 550 items.

This initiative builds upon a prior price reduction strategy implemented last year that saw C$80m allocated to cut prices on over 1,500 products.
