Canadian luxury men's retailer Harry Rosen has revealed plans to invest C$50m ($37m) up to 2028 to revamp its retail strategy and fleet.

The retailer is relocating its flagship store to a new 38,000ft² space in Yorkville as it aims to enhance the luxury customer experience.

The new flagship store, set to open by spring 2026, will be located on Cumberland Street, close to the current Bloor Street location.

The three-storey flagship location will feature innovative design, customer-centric experiences, and amenities such as a patio, client lounge, espresso bar and weekend valet parking.

The relocation is the next stage of a broader strategy that has seen the brand invest heavily in digital infrastructure in the past five years.

This includes expanding e-commerce into Harry Rosen's largest storefront, developing the Herringbone in-store selling tool, which drives 10% of online business, and launching the FinalCut online outlet.

Harry Rosen chairman and CEO Larry Rosen said: "Since my father opened the Bloor Street doors in 1970 and our current flagship in 1987, Harry Rosen has developed such a deep connection to the Yorkville neighbourhood.

"We are very excited to continue pushing our legacy forward by positioning our most important, innovative and immersive flagship at the centre of the Canadian luxury and fashion space."

The company's nationwide retail fleet will also see transformations to meet modern luxury customer expectations.

Renovations will begin with a 13,000ft² space at West Edmonton Mall in 2024, followed by a new 16,000ft² location at Vancouver's Oakridge Park.

The refreshed stores will offer engaging environments and foster relationships between customers and style advisors.

The design and experience of the new flagship and updated stores are being developed in partnership with Canadian-based design company dkstudio architects.
