Local commerce platform DoorDash and beauty retailer Ulta Beauty have expanded their partnership to offer on-demand delivery from 1,350 stores across the US.
Customers can browse beauty products within the dedicated Beauty tile on DoorDash’s app.
To celebrate the new partnership, from now until 2 June 2024 consumers can get discount codes on any Ulta order and members of Ulta’s loyalty programme, Ulta Beauty Rewards, can link their accounts to the DoorDash app to earn rewards points on every purchase.
The Ulta Beauty app is enabled by DoorDash Drive, the company's white-label fulfillment platform.
Ulta Beauty stores are also available on DashPass, DoorDash’s membership programme that offers free delivery and reduced service fees on eligible orders from thousands of grocery and convenience stores nationwide.
The partnership builds on DoorDash’s entrance into new categories across retail and grocery to broaden its selection.
Ulta Beauty vice-president of e-commerce Jodi Williams commented: “As our guests navigate increasingly busy lifestyles, we’re committed to introducing new, practical ways to meet them wherever they are shopping and ensure convenient beauty experiences for all."
DoorDash vice-president of partnerships Shanna Prevé added: “We’re thrilled to offer consumers unprecedented access to beauty essentials, including their favourite beauty products.”
In 2024 DoorDash collaborated with home improvement specialist Lowe’s and design marketplace Minted for on-demand delivery.
