US autonomous technology company Brain Corp has announced the launch of its BrainOS InventoryAI Suite, an innovative solution for retail inventory analytics.

The suite is designed to process data collected by autonomous mobile robots powered by Brain Corp's platform.

Brain Corp's InventoryAI Suite is a flexible and comprehensive artificial intelligence (AI)-driven analytics solution that allows retailers to customise data capture and utilisation to fit their specific needs.

It enables retailers to integrate intelligence into their operations seamlessly, using AI to quickly identify and rectify pressing inventory issues such as out-of-stock items and price tag errors.

Brain Corp CEO David Pinn stated: “Our mission is straightforward: we help retailers put the right product on the right shelf at the right price.

“This simple value proposition drives operational improvements, cost reductions, sales uplift and an elevated customer experience. It equips retailers with a competitive edge in today’s dynamic retail environment."

In a strategic partnership with Dane Technologies, Brain Corp has also introduced the Dane AIR, a robotic solution tailored for autonomous inventory scanning.

The Dane AIR robot, developed to operate fully autonomously, is engineered to accurately gather inventory data within the dynamic environment of public retail spaces.

This ensures precise data collection and enables retail associates to concentrate on other vital tasks.

Dane AIR features the new BrainOS robotics platform, equipped with advanced sensors that deliver efficient and reliable performance, as well as BrainOS shelf vision and BrainOS RFID [radio frequency identification] for thorough and accurate inventory capture.

The Dane AIR has fully autonomous capabilities and its cloud-based smart route generation is optimised to enhance scanning efficiency.

The lithium-ion battery-powered technology also features Wi-Fi and LTE [long-term evolution] connectivity for uninterrupted communication.

Dane Technologies CEO Dan Johnson said: "Dane AIR is poised to deliver outstanding ROI [return on investment] to retailers worldwide, addressing both outdated data collection processes and the pressing challenges stemming from labour shortages in the industry.”
