Luxury resale platform Rebag has partnered with department store chain Bloomingdale's to expand access to the luxury resale market.
This collaboration aims to democratise the luxury goods market by offering a curated selection of more than 2,500 pre-owned designer items such as handbags and fine jewellery online.
More than 500 items will also be available in five select Bloomingdale's stores across the country, including The Mall at Short Hills, White Plains in New York and Town Center at Boca Raton.
Bloomingdale's customers will have the opportunity to receive offers for items they wish to sell, using Rebag's proprietary AI tool, CLAIR, which leverages millions of data points for fast quotes and payouts.
This strategic retail and digital collaboration is set to promote sustainability and circularity in the luxury market.
It will allow Bloomingdale's customers to seamlessly transition between new and pre-owned luxury items, enhancing their shopping experience with exceptional offerings.
The items available through this partnership will focus on select ultra-high-end pieces, ensuring quality and exclusivity.
Rebag CEO and founder Charles Gorra said: "We are thrilled to join forces with Bloomingdale's. This partnership epitomises our vision of the complementary relationship between first-hand and second-hand luxury.
