Product development and supply chain platform Bamboo Rose has acquired the UK-based company Supply Pilot for an undisclosed amount.

Supply Pilot is a collaborative product development, sourcing and supply chain platform for retailers, brands and manufacturers.

Co-op, John Lewis, SC Johnson, and Woolworths are some of Supply Pilot’s clients.

The company’s enhanced supplier collaboration capabilities will enable Bamboo Rose’s retail management platform to offer increased supply chain visibility and encourage Environmental, Social Governance (ESG) schemes.

According to Bamboo Rose, the combined entity manages more than $1.2trn of transactions annually for thousands of products and users for several leading brands.

This collective capability will offer better end-to-end supplier engagement and supply chain technology to address critical business challenges for fashion and apparel; food and consumables; and general merchandise retailers across the globe.
