Global omnichannel media agency Assembly, in collaboration with Talon and Place Exchange, has introduced ShopConnect, a retail planning tool to boost in-store visits.

The tool integrates programmatic buying with digital out-of-home (DOOH) advertising to offer more impactful and timely consumer experiences.

ShopConnect enables advertisers to strategise and implement their DOOH campaigns.

The tool gives media buyers direct access to strategic retail media, empowering them to pinpoint, assess, activate and monitor DOOH inventory across specific retailers and venues.

This access is instrumental in driving increases in consideration, physical store visits and ultimately sales.

The real-time ingestion of user behavioural data generated by the tool allows for the optimisation of ad delivery, ensuring that the most appropriate advertisements are presented to potential customers at the most opportune moments.

This capability is crucial for reaching consumers during their daily activities.

In addition, ShopConnect minimises ad spend wastage, enhancing the return on ad spend.

Assembly insights and connections executive vice-president Andrea Montano stated: "As advertisers seek smarter and more efficient ways to reach their target audiences, ShopConnect is the game-changer they've been waiting for and a significant leap forward in brand performance advertising.

"At Assembly, we find the change that fuels growth, and with ShopConnect, we're pushing the boundaries of what's possible and giving brands the power to harness the full potential of a data and tech-powered insights tool that makes retail campaigns more targeted, efficient, and measurable. Every impression should drive an outcome and ShopConnect pushes us further toward that goal."
