Technology retail giant Apple is launching training sessions on its products for small business owners and entrepreneurs.
Held in a selection of its retail stores, the sessions will be led by small business owners covering how they have used products such as iPhone, iPad, and Mac, along with resources such as Apple Business Connect and Apple Business Essentials, to achieve growth.
Beginning during National Small Business Week in the US (28 April to 4 May), Apple is initially offering six ‘Made for Business’ sessions throughout May in Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., and Miami.
The sessions will continue in select stores around the world throughout 2024. It is part of the 'Today at Apple' creative workshop programming.
Apple store locations also offer dedicated business teams to curate personalised solutions, facilitate easy purchasing and shipping, and help small retailers get set up with Apple resources.
Apple’s senior vice president of retail Deirdre O’Brien commented: “We know small retailers are the backbone of local communities, which is why our retail stores provide only-at-Apple experiences to help at every stage of growth.”
Major retailers are increasing investments in Apple technology. Best Buy and Decathlon both recently announced customer experiences using Apple Vision Pro which combines augmented reality and virtual reality.
