Online fashion and lifestyle platform Zalando has entered into an exclusive partnership to become the only retail partner for designer label Diane von Furstenberg (DVF) across Europe. 

Shoppers in all 25 of Zalando’s markets will have access to DVF collections, including its celebrated wrap dress, exclusively through Zalando’s e-commerce site.  

This is in addition to the brand’s own website, dvf.com, and its brick-and-mortar store in Brussels.

Zalando has included Diane von Furstenberg in its collection of designer labels since 2018.  

Leveraging Zalando’s expertise in digital innovation and engaging narratives, the partnership aims to captivate a new audience while reconnecting them with DVF’s fashion pieces.

We’re excited to bring DVF’s iconic designs exclusively to our platform and share her inspiring story with our European community of more than 50 million active customers.” 

In alignment with this partnership, Zalando plans to launch a targeted marketing campaign in March 2025 that will pay homage to DVF’s rich heritage while appealing to the next wave of fashion enthusiasts. 

DVF CEO Graziano De Boni said: “Zalando is the ideal destination for DVF in Europe. It fits our DTC-focused global strategy of exclusive major retail distribution partnerships around the world.” 

In December 2024, Zalando unveiled plans to acquire fashion retailer About You in a €1.2bn ($1.3bn) deal.
