Dutch apparel retailer WE Fashion has chosen Oracle Cloud to revamp its business processes and enhance the agility and security of its omnichannel operations. 

Established in 1962, WE serves customers across more than 25 countries through its bricks-and-mortar stores, online platforms and third-party partners.  

The integration of Oracle Retail Suite and Oracle Fusion Cloud Warehouse Management into WE Fashion’s infrastructure will empower the retailer with advanced AI capabilities.  

This technological enhancement will streamline merchandise management throughout its network of 133 stores and distribution centres.

The deployment of Oracle Retail Merchandising Cloud Services alongside Oracle Retail AI Foundation will enable WE to automate industry best practices and refine stock allocation and planning.  

These tools will also facilitate the utilisation of AI and machine learning for more dynamic decision-making related to assortments, promotions, inventory positioning, forecasting, procurement, pricing strategies and other critical retail operations. 

Oracle Retail Supplier Evaluation will assist WE in operationalising its sustainability objectives and adhering to environmental, social and governance (ESG) reporting mandates by harvesting data directly from suppliers on factors such as carbon emissions. 

Oracle Warehouse Management, an integral component of Oracle fusion cloud supply chain and manufacturing, is set to elevate operational efficiency within WE’s distribution centres.  

This upgrade promises improved fulfilment aligned with consumer demand and heightened inventory transparency. Oracle’s retail and fusion application consulting teams will provide support throughout the implementation process.
