Fast Retailing Group’s Japanese clothing retailer UNIQLO has revealed plans to open its first permanent store in Poland in autumn 2024.
The 1,300m² UNIQLO Arkadia store will be situated on the first floor of the Westfield Arkadia shopping centre in Warsaw.
It will offer the complete range of LifeWear products for men, women, children and infants.
The decision to establish a permanent retail location in Poland follows the success of the UNIQLO Wars Sawa Junior pop-up store, which debuted in Warsaw in September 2022.
The move is part of UNIQLO’s strategy to extend its store network across Europe, making its LifeWear line more accessible to a growing customer base.
The retailer opened two regional flagship stores in Rome and Edinburgh in spring 2024 and additional new stores in central London, Nice and Milan.

Its Europe CEO Taku Morikawa said: “We are thrilled to take this next step in UNIQLO’s journey in Poland and bring UNIQLO’s versatile and everyday essentials to even more people in Warsaw.
“With our first pop-up store at Wars Sawa Junior, we have seen how customers have embraced our LifeWear philosophy, inspired by the Japanese values of quality, longevity and simplicity.
“It’s a great honour to open our first-ever permanent store in Poland in a city so rich with history and culture, with a forward-thinking spirit that aligns with our brand values.”
