Uber Technologies has entered a strategic partnership with Sally Beauty, a retailer of hair colour and care products, to offer on-demand delivery services in the US.
The initiative is Uber Eats’ first partnership in the national beauty sector, and brings Sally Beauty’s product line into the Uber Eats platform, a subsidiary of Uber Technologies.
Consumers can purchase hair care products from Sally Beauty outlets across the country via the Uber Eats application.
The service then provides customers with the flexibility to schedule their deliveries according to their convenience.
Both new and existing Uber Eats users can use a promotional discount of up to 50% on orders of $50 or more until 31 March 2025.
Members of Uber One also have exclusive benefits, including waived delivery fees on qualifying purchases.
The alliance with Uber Eats enables Sally Beauty to bolster its online footprint and provide customers with rapid and convenient access to its products.
The selection available on Sally Beauty’s storefront within the Uber Eats app includes bondbar, Dashing Diva, Sauce Beauty, Wella and XMONDO.
Sally Beauty Holdings strategy, customer insights and digital experience group vice-president Natalie Lockhart stated: “At Sally Beauty, our customers want access to their favourite products exactly when they need them — whether it’s for a last-minute nail look or an at-home hair colour refresh.
“Being the first beauty retailer to partner with Uber Eats allows us to take convenience to the next level, further expanding our same-day delivery reach nationwide, making our quality products more accessible than ever before.”
Customers can make purchases by selecting the Retail or Beauty category within the Uber Eats app.
In January 2025, Uber Eats partnered with Wegmans Food Markets to deliver grocery items directly from the supermarket chain.
