US-based multinational transportation company Uber is continuing to expand its partnership with robot delivery service provider companies.
The company’s online food ordering and delivery platform Uber Eats is set to introduce Coco’s sidewalk robots.
The partnership is beginning in Los Angeles with plans to expand to additional cities in the second half of 2024.
Uber autonomous mobility and delivery global head Noah Zych said: “We’re excited to welcome Coco’s sidewalk robots on Uber Eats to enhance the delivery experience for both our merchants and customers.
“As we continue to popularise robot delivery in Los Angeles, our partnership with Coco drives us another step towards a more sustainable and autonomous future for delivery.”
Founded in 2020, Coco’s fleet consists of more than 1,000 emissions-free robots, offering an effective and affordable delivery solution for merchants.
