According to a new report from Webretailer.com, Morrisons has established itself as the best UK supermarket, outshining competitors with shopping experience marked by flawless delivery and effortless returns.
The study assessed minimum spends and timeframes on home deliveries and subscription services.
The UK supermarket giant, renowned for its impressive salad bar and competitive deals, offered a monthly subscription cost of just £5, as well as a very reasonable £25 minimum spend for delivery.
Morrisons also had an impressive 19 hours available for home delivery, which would make organising a food shop far easier for people with full-time jobs or families. This scored them full marks in the home delivery category, while the only thing that let them down was a lack of free delivery.
The supermarket’s outlook was positive for Q2 2023, with GlobalData analysis finding that sales growth through a growing convenience estate will be vital to lifting Morrisons’ performance further.
Its popularity was also boosted by the reintroduction of its More Card loyalty scheme after a successful trial, replacing its previous My Morrisons app.
