Spar UK Partner, the Henderson Group, has announced plans to trial the ‘scan, pay and go’ app of British retail technology start-up Ubamarket, using its EDGEPoS system, across select stores in Northern Ireland.
Henderson Group will initially test the scan, pay and go app in small number of Spar and Eurospar Supermarkets. The app will also be integrated with Henderson Technology’s new self-checkout systems, currently installed in stores across Northern Ireland.

Spar selected Henderson Group as its franchise to operate its Northern Ireland stores in 1960. The group currently operates 300 SPAR stores across the region.
Spar UK operates through five regional partners with distribution centres in each region and a central office located in London.
