E-commerce marketplace Shopify has entered a strategic partnership with frictionless commerce solutions and services provider Pivotree. 

The partnership will combine Shopify’s enterprise commerce platform with Pivotree’s expertise in architecting advanced digital solutions. 

Pivotree acts as a technology partner, focusing on executing and migrating enterprise commerce clients to the Shopify platform.  

Pivotree CRO Kyle Metcalf said: “We are thrilled to partner with Shopify to bring cutting-edge e-commerce solutions to our clients. This partnership leverages the strengths of both companies and underscores our commitment to helping businesses optimise their digital operations, reduce TCO [total cost of ownership, calculated as initial purchase price plus costs of operation across an asset’s lifespan] and achieve remarkable growth.” 

Effective from 9 August 2024, the new alliance will deliver solutions to both business-to-business (B2B) and direct-to-consumer (D2C) markets.  

By leveraging the expertise of both companies, this partnership will support major brands in their transition from their legacy platforms to the Shopify platform.
