Global online fashion and lifestyle retailer Shein has announced the opening of a new office in downtown Bellevue, Seattle, marking a significant expansion of its US presence.
The 10,000ft² space at Bellevue’s Key Centre will become a hub for the company’s US fulfilment and logistics operations.
The establishment of the Seattle-area office is part of Shein’s strategy to localise services and expedite delivery services for American customers.
By the end of 2024, the company expects to hire 50 professionals at the new location, with recruitment underway for roles supporting its logistics and distribution capabilities across the US.
The new hires will be instrumental in supporting Shein’s ongoing growth in the US market and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for its American clientele.
The Seattle team will join Shein’s existing US workforce, which includes 1,500 corporate and warehouse staff in cities such as Los Angeles, San Diego, Philadelphia, Washington DC and Whitestown.
