Romanian online retailer eMag has partnered with digital financial technology services provider Wirecard for a payment solution to enhance the customer experience.
As part of the deal, Wirecard has developed a new digital financial commerce platform for eMAG.
The solution is designed to allow the retailer to offer immediate and uncomplicated refunds with its ‘Instant Money Back’ offer, which is available for Mastercard Money Send and Visa Direct services.
The retailer is now able to enhance the customer experience by reducing the time of receiving money, resulting in increased brand trust and loyalty.
Wirecard Romania managing director Utku Ogrendil said: “Online shopping is growing fast in Romania and this is mainly due to the growing comfort that the end consumer feels when ordering or paying.
“The latest payment solution with eMAG is taking this experience to a new and higher level, contributing to making all aspects of the purchase process as fast and seamless as possible, and we are excited to be pioneering it.”
