JRTech Solutions, a partner of global technology company Pricer, has secured a contract to improve the operations of one of North America’s largest grocery retailers.

The unnamed retailer currently has more than 1,500 grocery and pharmacy stores. It will integrate Pricer Plaza, a cloud-based in-store automation and communication platform, into 50 locations.

The contract is valued at approximately Skr90m ($8.4m). 

JRTech Solutions is expected to complete the rollout of Pricer Plaza and electronic shelf labels (ESLs) by the end of 2024.  

The initiative represents the first extensive full-store deployment of four-colour labels in North America.

In October 2023, Canadian grocery wholesaler Associated Grocers enhanced its labelling system with fully graphic Pricer smart labels from JRTech Solutions.
