Canadian independent grocer Organic Garage has entered an exclusive partnership with Instacart to expand its online reach.
Organic Garage will use Instacart’s delivery platform to offer same-day delivery of groceries from all its retail stores.
With this collaboration, the Canadian retailer is offering delivery to new markets, including Mississauga, Milton, Brampton, Newmarket and Pickering.
Organic Garage CEO Matt Lurie said: “I am very excited to finalise this agreement with Instacart and significantly increase our potential customer base.
“Extending our delivery range by partnering with North America’s largest online grocery platform further evolves our e-commerce business, providing additional safe shopping options for our existing customers in addition to finding innovative ways of increasing our customer base going forward.”
The Toronto-based grocer is also extending its delivery range and online presence to more than 2.11 million households in Ontario.

Last month, convenience retailer 7-Eleven expanded its delivery service via Instacart to almost 4,000 more stores in the US.
Through this expansion, Instacart’s same-day delivery is now offered from almost 6,000 7-Eleven stores in the country, reaching almost 60 million households.
Consumers can purchase essential products including pantry staples, household items, alcohol, snacks, over-the-counter medication, and more.
