Destination XL (DXL) Group, a retailer of big and tall men’s clothing and shoes, and department store chain Nordstrom have entered a strategic partnership.
The collaboration will see DXL introducing its extensive big and tall apparel collection on Nordstrom’s digital platform.
This coincides with the launch of Nordstrom’s new marketplace, aimed at broader audiences, in April 2024.
The alliance is a significant move to extend DXL’s specialised fitting expertise and diverse style selection to more customers within the underserved big and tall market.
This initiative aligns with DXL’s “wear what you want” mission, which champions the individual style choices of big and tall men.
DXL president and CEO Harvey Kanter said: “This collaboration with Nordstrom allows us to extend our fitting expertise and unique styling to a new segment of big and tall customers. Together, we are not just expanding our reach; we are not just extending Nordstrom’s Big + Tall offering, but enhancing the way big and tall apparel is viewed and purchased.
