US-based discount retailer Target is expanding its new next-day essentials delivery service to two more markets.

The Target Restock delivery service was first launched in Minneapolis in June and is currently being tested by the company.

Customers in Dallas-Fort Worth and Denver can now use the service, which has been expanded to cover items such as school supplies and baby food.

Target noted that the service will no longer be restricted only to Target REDcard holders and will be available to all customers.

Under the programme, shoppers can order items such as personal care items, baby products and cleaning supplies on Target Restock by 2pm between Monday and Friday.

The orders will be delivered the next day at the customer’s location for $4.99.
