Online grocery shopping platform Rosie will provide a customised e-commerce programme to Associated Wholesale Grocers (AWG), in order to drive larger order sizes and boost consumer loyalty.
AWG is a retailer-owned cooperative that caters to more than 2,600 member stores in 26 US states.
It has nine distribution centres and provides groceries, fresh meat, fresh produce, specialty foods, health care and general merchandise.
AWG corporate marketing manager Kate Favrow said: "Our goal is to provide our member retailers with access to strategic partners capable of helping our retailers compete in the changing grocery marketplace.
"We evaluated Rosie’s offering and based on their evolving technology and eagerness to help the independent grocer felt it was a good fit for our retailers."
Rosie Applications CEO Nick Nickitas said: "Rosie and AWG have worked closely together for the last several years to develop the industry’s leading online shopping programme.
