Ireland-based fashion retailer Primark has launched its first store in Italy, in the city of Milan.
The new store is located in the Il Centro shopping mall in Arese and has 56,000ft² of retail space spread across two floors. It offers clothing for men and children, as well as separate sections for health and beauty, and gifts.
Primark has recruited 400 people for its new Italian store.
Featuring 63 changing rooms and 46 tills, the new store also provides free access of Wi-Fi to customers.
With the new store in Italy, Primarks has 306 stores spread across 11 countries.
Also trading as Penneys, the Irish retailer plans to open three stores in the UK, the Netherlands and the US.
