Apparel manufacturer Mad Engine has announced the acquisition of youth-focused headwear and clothing producer Neff Headwear from Marlin Equity Partners (MEP) and Neff Family.
The acquisition will enable Mad Engine to expand its operations and diversify into the branded apparel and accessory market.
All the companies involved in the transaction are based in the US.
Chinese e-commerce company Alibaba Group has purchased 0.16 million shares or a 0.35% stake in One97 Communications from Nikhil Vora for Rs1.5bn ($23.3m).
Based in India, One97 Communications is the owner and operator of mobile commerce platform Paytm.
Automotive retail and service chain operator The Pep Boys – Manny, Moe & Jack has bought wheel and tire retailer Mathis Tire & Auto Service.
The transaction will enable Pep Boys to enter a new market.
Both the companies involved in the acquisition are based in the US.
eForce has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Lim Kim Chai to buy a 15% stake in Malaysian investment holding company Pacific Memory for HK$224.2m ($28.76m).
eForce is a healthcare and household product manufacturer based in Hong Kong.
Web and application design and development company My Mobi Services has acquired virtual reality e-commerce websites VR Outlet and Web Organic Food.
The acquisition will enable the company to enter a new industry.
All the companies involved in the deal are based in the US.
