Canadian companies lululemon athletica and 7mesh Industries have entered a partnership to jointly develop advanced technical apparel.
The collaboration will focus on new ventures of lululemon’s Whitespace research and development team.

According to lululemon, Whitespace R&D is an investment priority and catalyst for innovation through its creation of new fabrics and construction technologies. It also provides product testing and future concept development.
In addition to the strategic partnership, lululemon has made a minority investment in 7mesh.
7mesh Industries CEO Tyler Jordan said: “Working in close partnership with lululemon’s Whitespace team is an incredible opportunity for us."
