LuLu Hypermarket has opened its 115th outlet at Al Bandar Complex in Oman, with plans to open five new stores over the next 18 months.
Commenting on the expansion, LuLu Group managing director Yusuff Ali said: "LuLu has become an integral part of Oman’s landscape over the last few years and we are committed to extending our footprint with plans to open 5 new stores in the next 18 months. This has been made possible only because of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said and the Government’s vision and policies which encourages and provides a conducive environment for businesses and deserves a special mention. These have been LuLu Group’s main drivers.
"The induction of young Omani’s into our workforce has been instrumental in strengthening our presence in Oman, and we will ensure that there is adequate focus in this area."
The new LuLu store will cater to employees of the military and their families as well as the people from the catchment areas of Mawaleh, Al Khod, Rusayl, Mabelah Jifnain & Bid Bid.
This outlet will sell a wide range of brands at the fairest prices, as well as offer good selection of brands and product lines under one roof.
The complex houses a shopping mall, department stores, shops, food courts, and areas for entertainment and children’s games.
