BJ’s Wholesale Club has deployed cash automation solutions across more than 200 stores in the US, in partnership with Glory Global Solutions.
The move is a part of the retailer's strategy to simplify its business and reduce costs.

BJ’s operations support vice-president Mike Loudon said: “With cash recycling, we were hoping to decrease average labour hours needed in our lower office (back office).
"We executed a proof-of-concept in several stores and realised savings of 7.5 hours per day per store in cash processing labour. Across our entire store base, that labour savings represents millions of dollars."
With the purchase of CashInfinity CI-300 and CI-200 cash recyclers, BJ’s has expanded its partnership with Glory.
Loudon added: “An additional benefit we didn’t anticipate was the significant reduction in cash required to be on hand at each club.

The return on investment (ROI) for the complete investment is estimated to be more than 12 months.
Headquartered in Massachusetts, BJ's operates 214 wholesale clubs and 130 gas outlets across 15 states.
