Retail software solutions provider Bamboo Rose has launched a mobile platform in order to enable retailers to improve communication channels while pursuing business development.

As part of the new platform, the company’s entire product suite comprising Marketplace, PLM, Sourcing, Order Management and Global Trade Management is now available on mobile devices for retailers.

The company noted that mobile accessibility will allow retailers to collaborate irrespective of time and place.

Bamboo Rose CEO Sue Welch said: “By allowing our customers to go mobile as they design, develop and deliver products, retailers, brands and suppliers will be able to be in constant communication using one platform, even when members are in the field.

“We’re providing our entire platform on the go, with all of the power and functionality you’d get in the desktop version.”

“Other ‘mobile’ offerings are actually just a series of standalone, disconnected apps, all of which need to be manually downloaded and periodically updated.

“We’re providing our entire platform on the go, with all of the power and functionality you’d get in the desktop version.”

Already being used by retailers such as Kohl’s and Urban Outfitters, the platform allows companies to seamlessly move from inspiration to wishlists to PLM, shopping trips to showrooms within the same application.

Using the platform, customers can approve samples, capture ideas, collaborate during fitting sessions and assess trade scenarios in real-time from the field using mobile devices.

Bamboo Rose allows retailers and suppliers to simplify the product creation and delivery process, improving the speed at which products are brought to market.
