Online-based organic baby and children's clothing brand Monica + Andy has opened its first retail location in New York City, US.

The 810ft² store at 410 Columbus Avenue is the brand's second location, with the first being in Chicago.

Launched in 2014, the brand has reportedly grown its business through its online and physical store.

Monica + Andy has reported that the latest move will expand its reach to existing and new customers, giving them a first-hand view of the brand.

Monica + Andy founder Monica Royer said: "Through our e-commerce platform, we were able to use data and insights collected to enhance our customer experiences in-store, like our personalised Layette programme, and keeps us at the forefront of experiential retail."

Its products are claimed to be made with the best fabrics available, and free of lead, phthalate and flame retardants.

The new retail location will feature the brand's full product line, including bodysuits, one-pieces, blankets, and hats.

Monica + Andy was founded to deliver softer organic fabrics, better-designed clothing and blankets, as well as a seamless, easy shopping experience for parents.

It also offers in-store workshops and classes that include sleep clinics for new parents, and music and art classes for babies.
