Salling Companies has reached an agreement with A.P. Moller-Maersk to acquire the remaining 19% stake in Dansk Supermarked A/S.
Based in Denmark, the target company is a retail chain operator, whereas A.P. Moller-Maersk is an integrated transport and logistics company also based in Denmark.

The purchase consideration for the acquisition is agreed to be kr5.53m ($0.86m).
The Foschini Group has completed the acquisition of UK-based women’s clothing, footwear and accessories retailer Hobbs.
