UK wine retailer Majestic has partnered with courier service Gophr to provide rapid same-day deliveries for its customers during the 2024 summer sports season.
The collaboration follows a successful trial in regions including London, Yeovil, Shrewsbury and Carlisle.
The partnership will complement Majestic’s existing network of 220 delivery vans.
The alliance, which extends nationwide, will allow customers to receive their purchases of wines, beers and spirits within hours through Gophr’s on-demand fleet of couriers.
The service is particularly aimed at those buying in bulk from Majestic stores.
While online orders through majestic.co.uk will still have the option of same-day click-and-collect or next-day delivery, the addition of Gophr’s fleet offers an enhanced level of convenience.

The partnership with Gophr will cater to the heightened demand and ensure timely deliveries.
Through its dedicated on-trade sales division, Majestic Commercial, the company serves 3,000 hospitality venues across the UK.

This exciting new partnership with Gophr gives our customers the added option of having their large in-store purchases delivered to their homes within a matter of hours.
“Gophr will also offer on-demand support to our existing fleet of more than 200 vans, beefing up our delivery capacity whenever we need it. This provides vital reassurance for our retail and on-trade customers that they will receive exactly what they have ordered from us, exactly when they want it – even during our summer, Christmas and Easter peaks.”
