Canadian online retailer of custom suits Indochino is planning to expand its footprint in the US market by opening 18 new showrooms next year.
The retail outlets will be opened at various locations in the US, which includes cities such as Atlanta, Austin, Nashville and San Jose, New York and Los Angeles.
For this expansion, the company plans to adopt the omnichannel approach and provide consumers with a better fitting alternative to ready-to-wear clothing.
Beginning from the first of this month, the company has also introduced a new three-week delivery service in order to set a new standard in the custom clothing industry.
According to the company, delivery times have been reduced from four weeks to three weeks due to increased efficiencies across the manufacturing and delivery cycle.
Indochino has been working closely with suit manufacturer Dayang Group, while it has now entered into a new partnership with a shipping and logistics provider, which is expected to further reduce delivery time.
