Australian fashion retailer General Pants has reportedly revealed plans to boost its presence overseas with the opening of its first New Zealand store.
To be located in Auckland, the store will be the first in a series of outlets planned to be opened in the country this year, reported the New Zealand Herald.

General Pants CEO Sacha Laing was quoted by Inside Retail New Zealand as saying that the company will open physical stores across major cities, including Christchurch and Wellington.
The retailer also noted that it is planning to open the first stores in ‘a few months’ time’.
Laing was quoted by New Zealand Herald as saying: “The New Zealand market represents a great opportunity for General Pants and we anticipate to open a number of stores over the next two years.
“We already have a strong online business in New Zealand and with a local store network as a multi-channel retailer this not only gives our customers great choice but also easy access to all our brands.”
